Peanut butter (smooth) sandwich with sliced gherkins (sweet pickles)
Scrambled eggs with mustard (yellow, not brown)
Rice as a hot breakfast cereal with butter and sugar
Glass of cornbread pieces with milk poured over
And apples and apple pie with sliced cheese is pretty common, even without being German.

Peanut butter & mayo sandwiches. Peanut butter doesn't stick to the roof of your mouth as bad. Delish.
Everything tastes good with peanut butter. Peanut butter & bacon sandwiches are good also
