Do you have any bad or funny experiences with TeleMarketers or are you a Telemarketer and you want to tell us more about your job??


Here's what happened..

First of all, I got this phone call at 7:30 in the morning!!

I previously donated money to the "Make A Wish Foundation" about 2 months ago. And now they're asking if I would like to make another donation. "Being the nice guy that I am.. " I told them sure, but since I was on a tight budget, I was only able to offer $20 dollars. This is where it got interesting.. They told me that for 15 dollars would the average donation per child per donor and that for 10 dollars more I could sponsor 2 children.. and I was like what?? Is this lady asking for more money?? I told her that $20 dollars was the best I could do at this time since I'm on a tight budget..And she offered to send me a bill for $30.00 that I could mail in later on when I get the rest of the money.. This is when I went.."WOW" I was actually thinking of sending money, possibly not eating at work for atleast 3 days to make this donation and now their asking for more money?? After this I told them that I'm sorry but I can't donate that much and if they can't take my $20.00 then I can't do it at all..(I know huh? I'm begging them to take my money,I'm such a dumbass ) That's when she said: "Well thank you for your time and hope you have a great weekend" and she hung up!! I'm like.. They rejected my $20.00 donation??? Overall I feel bad for not able to help out.. But most importantly, I feel bad for those kids that was being represented by people like her..
