So I'm leaving work to go clock out and I suddenly get a phone call from a number I have never seen..It's a local number so I figure maybe it's a friend with a new phone number or someone that I just never added to my phone (which I have done)

So I answer it and this real staticky (sp?) voice, in a very robotic (sounds like a recording) tone "hello" and proceeds to say really random ____. At one point something about a music store and some other incoherent babble because the phone kept cutting out. Seemed to ignore everything I was asking until I said "Hanging up now" then I Hear it say "some friend you are.."

Call the g/f like I normally do when I'm leaving work and the number calls me back. I answer and tell them "don't ____ing calling me until you tell me who you are" said something about "you don't know who I am?" in a very (Once again) creepy, robotic tone..anyway I know I was acting irrationally and I"m probably over reacting but I've been pranked before but never on my cell and not like this.

ONly thing I could find out is the number is from Westminister (a town about 20-30 min from me..less than 20 miles on surface streets)

anyone know how to figure out who this person is or anyone gotten a similar call? Probably just over reacting but I'm actually a little freaked about this..

Ok so another one of my buddies got called by this number so it's just some jack ___ prank like I figured..sorry for my over reaction..I guess it's just a result of my current stress levels with school and work and crap..mods if you want to delete this thread that makes me look like a total pansy then go for it haha

although if anyone knows a way to figure out who this tool is I wouldn't object to you finding out lol

I think I was overreacting just due to my stress levels as of late. Oh well..he ended up calling a few of my friends to so by that point I was just like eff it.

 

I have to admit though, your first post was scary to read in the dark.

 

This is why I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. =) lol
