Default Opinion of my website please?

Hi Guys,

I just finished re-vamping a website I work on, www.dealfactory.net added some new products, re-did the color scheme etc, can you please take a look and give me an HONEST opinion on the overall impression you get of it?

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu,

Jeff

The link on here pops up as http://www.dealfactory.net with a coma behind it so it is saying it's having problem loading the page. I deleted the coma and got to the site. I like it.

Not bad, nothing special, but it's functional.

The black text on the very dark navy, isn't seen that well. make it white at minimum.

that dark pinkish/peach is not my cup of tea, and i don't think i've seen that anywhere. I'm sure you were going for a color that contrasted the blue, but i'd use something else.
against that blue, I'd use CC9900 or just go gray.
I know you're using a template program, so I'm not sure how much you can change, but I'd make the affliate/community/classifieds...buttons on top, a better looking button, or not a button at all. & the american flag looks cheese, take it off. No offense, but your website doesn't appear to be a real company, but just another affliate website. You need a logo, above your tagline "the best deals..."

and rename that "New Arrivals" to "New Arrivals this week", or something that makes it appear to your audience as "new products near everyday".

i've been making websites for large/small companies myself since 96.

I agree with seattledave... but wouldn't of noticed those things too much on my own.

The only thing I noticed on my own is the picture size consistency. If you look at the bottom right on that linked page, you have some monster sized cell phones and a watch.

And just to be picky, the Nokia 6131 picture should be of one phone, just like your other ones are.

Other than that, I think you did a great job!

I agree with the picture size consistency. Also, perhaps the links on the left can be compressed by using a threaded approach?
