Does anyone here play Gears of War on 360? I'd like to see how people play on this site. Siea in the game!

 

the game is too short. if it was as long as call of duty then it would be really great. most of the side missions arent that interesting enough to do.

 

That's why you play it by yourself on Casual, Hardcore, and Insane. Then you play co-op on Casual, Hardcore, and Insane. Then you play as Dom in co-op. Then you have hours upon hours of fun with the multiplayer.

The game has an incredible replay value.

 

Gears is awesome. Hopefully I'll beat it on insane tonight

 

I still can't kill that bastard at the last level on the train.

 

Haha, yeah he's tough, u need to snipe the hell outta him when those krills are gone.

Yeah i know how it's done i just can't do it. I always get hung up on the cover points when i'm trying to run. Krill SUCK!!

 

Stay at the starting cover point, in the light and keep sniping, eventually he'll get real close, and start to come over to your side of your cover... Jump over it, stay in the middle (in the light) and go to the complete opposite end and repeat.

 

That's what i do and i make pretty good progress but like i said it screws me up when i try to run, the cover spots get in the way. That thing in the middle (stack of wood?) or the things on the side hang me up...so i usually end up getting wasted by his fire. To clarify i end up taking cover when i want to run and he blasts me. Guess i'll just keep tying. I've only played the level 100 times. 300 is a charm.

 

ah, I see what you mean now.. I'm almost there on hardcore, should be fun ;P

 

Man it took us FOREVER to clear the mineshaft on insane on co-op.

I beat regular and hardcore, now im just playing online. Im not even going to touch insane.

 

Never once did I ever have a reason to throw a controller at a television before... Until Insane Co-Op in GoW. Better make sure you're teammate is patient and a decent player...

Ive never visited th OT thread. But the way i beat the guy on the train is with the torque bow and sniper with some grenades. If you manage to start off with 12 arrows and a full sniper and 2 grenades you can kill him before he gets to you. I didnt this on Hardcore BTW.

Shoot him with the torque bow, which will cause all the krill to swarm away, pull out your sniper or active reload your bow and shoot him again before the Krill come back. repeat this multiple times. When he gets close enough either frag tag him of blind toss a frag at him and BOOM!!!
