Default People like these pi$$ me off!

Two weeks after a liver swop, girl of 19 was back on the drink.
After eight days in a coma and a life- saving liver transplant, Laura Bates was warned that continuing to drink alcohol could kill her.

But the 19-year-old is apparently so caught up in the binge-drinking culture that she has refused to heed medical advice.

Claiming that she would feel 'left out' if she gave up alcohol, the student had her first alcopop a mere two weeks after being released from hospital.

----

People die because they are on the waiting list for a better/new organ for months. She gets one after mere hours and "spits" into the face of the doning family by drinking.

I agree, I would be so ____ed off if this happened, even more so if I was part of that family that donated it.

How about Feeling "left out" of joining others close to her who have already passed-away, sounds as if she wants to join the dead 6-feet under

My suspicion is some serious sh*t went down earlier in her life(at what point exactly- or pertaining to what- I could not exactly detect), and this is her way of drownding away her sorrows/depression w/alcohol. This is more then likely the case, and an easy read by anyone who knows human behavior. Not to metion taking things(life) for granted.

This girl needs therapy, not criticism. She's basically suicidal.

Someone should just f*** the s*** outta her a** until she changes her mind. Everytime she picks up a beer, theres this 200 pound guy with a flock of seagulls haircut and the jacket Michael jackson wore from thriller just waiting to pound her rear end.

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to force people to get help. However, if she again has a liver failure because of drinking and there is another person in line waiting for a liver transplant (even if the person is 60+) I would give it to the other person.

Liver transplants shouldn't be given to people who ruin their liver through drinking. No one should be protected from the consequences of their own actions.

What made anyone think that she would take care of her second liver any better than her first? She ruined her first one in only 19 years.

How does a 200 lb guy fit into Jackson's Thriller jacket?

Life's not a _____, it's a virgin. If it was a _____ then it'd be easy.

Life's not a biscuit, it's a virgin. If it was a biscuit then it'd be easy.
Very true. Obviously I have much to learn.
