BTW, to the OP, you don't have to be a complete douche to be the "jerky" guy that gets the girls, that is just the extreme case. You just need to be a bit jerky in the sense of not catering to her every whim and desire. It is perfectly fine to say "no" more often than not. The reason girls go out with jackholes is because they don't want clingy doormats. Men who can stand up for themselves, have their own lives, display a backbone, and be nice guy at the sametime are the real winners. (there, happy Claudia )

You know why artists get so much booty? Because they "care about their art". They don't "go after" the girl, they create an enviroment that brings women to them. They focus on their art, and they talk about nothing but their art. Meaning, they don't talk about her, and they don't ask her how she's doing. As far the artist is concerned, they couldn't care less if this particular female in front of them is actually there, and this drives the women crazy. The problem erupts when they land on a single woman, and they still carry on like that. Once you get the devoted relationship, some catering is not only expected but mandatory.

I'm not saying anything, I think everyone should act/behave the way they naturally are and should not alter themeselves with the goal to get more a$$, that's just plain idiotic and pathetic.

My best friend is a nice guy, we have a very strong relationship and we would be dating if it weren't for my oppressive family. My first bf was a jacka$$, my second one too, my thrid was nice. So I don't date based on whether a guy is a jack butt or a schlompy nice dude. There are way more other aspects than that, which makes a man attractive to me.

Again, I speak for myself I dunno how american chicks think/behave.

 

Why is it pathetic to alter oneself with the goal of more ___? I'm sure you are not the same person at work as you are outside of work... It's ok to alter oneself for more money but not sex? That is the funniest thing I have ever heard from a girl considering all the make up I'm sure you wear...

It's not what I believe, it's what I know and it took me a very long time learn this. I say "they are the real winners" because they more often than not find themselves in very good relationships, because these types of guys have their head screwed on straight, and end up with chicks that have their heads screwed on straight.

If a teen boy just bes "himself" and how they naturally are, they'll never get anywhere with the ladies. It's all a facade at that age for everyone because nobody has figured out who they are yet, with extremely rare exceptions to the rule.

And it's quite ok for complete douchewads and schmoes to change who they are. I'm completely ok with that. However, for the kiddoes reading along, if you are only trying to not act like a complete douchewad or schmoe, your cover will eventually be blown. Who you are always always eventually bubbles to the surface for the world to see.

I would have to second that Claudia, Being who you really are is what makes girls fall in love with you and vise versa with the guys. Dont pretend to be a a$$hole in your not because that will only back fire on you. What really would you be accomplishing if you acted like that to try to get girls? I put on burts bees wax chapstick so my lips don't fall off. If you wanna consider that make up go ahead. If I have a date then I [i]might[/b] put some mascara on that's it; no eye shadow, no cakes on my face, no lipstick, no blush no other crap.
