Well considering you are a Bears fan you are biased and i understand.....but considering i dont care who wins i am merely weighting it evenly all around.....

Coaching - Edge goes to Indy.....We all know Tony built the team that won in Tampa and now again in Indy...he is the better coach....im not taking anything away from Lovie and what has done....i just feel Tony is the better coach

Offense.....hahaha a no brainer Indy gets the edge

Defense.....okay fair enough Edge goes to the Bears

Special Teams......is closer than you think but because of Hester you know the edge has to go to the Bears

Intangibles.....this is the tie breaker and honstly the reason the Colts get the edge and the win.....Manning is arguable the smartest QB to play the game....he reads the Dfense and makes great calls to counter....granted he has normally choked in the playoffs....but this is no longer the playoffs....this is the big one and you know he is bringinig his
A game.....on the other side you have arguable the dumbest QB in Rex on the field....doesnt make good decisions and gets rattle very easy...."Timeout Timeout...of yeah i can only do that once at a time duh".....seriously the guy has been bailed out more by his Defense then any QB i have ever since and i am very impressed they made it the far....remember there was a time that he almost got benched!!

I agree that I am biased, but honestly, I wouldn't be that upset if the Bears lost as the Colts are my second team (Dad's side of the family is from Indy). Here's my take:

Offense:
It seems like it is a no brainer with Manning as the Colts quarterback, but remember the Colts suck at stopping the run, in fact, they were one of the worst in the league and with Jones and Benson on fire right now, it won't be a blow out. Manning will throw the ball all day and the Bears will run most of the day because they don't want to leave the game up to Sexy Rexy.

Edge-> Colts

Defense:
Now this one is a no brainer. The Bears are the best at forcing turnovers, no question about it. I'm predicting if the Bears defense brings their A game, this game will go to the Bears. If they don't, Manning will throw on them all day as he loves to torch cover-2 defenses and will take it.

Edge-> Bears

Special teams:
Hester, Gould, Maynard. Enough said.

I voted for the bears, but it really is contingent upon Grossman not f@cking up. As long as he played like he did last game (in the later quarters), we should be good.

 

i'll root for the Bears but i'd put my money on the Colts
