Anybody have any other ideads on how to bring it back to life? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The connection to the screen is loose. You would need to crack the sucker open and reconnect the lead. I have an iPaq myself, so you'll have to dig for some build schematics to figure out what goes where when you pull it apart.

Good luck!

I was thinking about opening it up but I don't know what to look for. I will definatley not be welding anything so if its a loose able or somthing I can fix it, if not then it's dead. I need a step by step guide on what to do.

If not, which of these would be best? :

OK, so I opened it up and found out which plug is for the screen. I tryed unpluging and repluging it but it didn't help. What else could be the problem?

do you have a test light? one of the wires (on what's likely a ribbon) could be bad... you'd probably need a really tiny test light.

honestly, you should probably take it to a pro. I've built more computers than I could count, but I'm loathe to start taking apart a laptop. things get even more compact in a PDA... my 2c

Well, there are no pro's in my area that would deal with a PDA. Even if there was, just for them to fix it would cost more than the value of the PDA. Yes, I have a test Light but there is nothing to test...the battery is definatley working fine and technically the screen is also functioning, just not showing the programs, I think it's a motherboard issue....
