anyways I'm so annoyed because I put so much abuse on my engine with out improving at all, I did get my 0-60 down from the original 9.72 to 9.00 flat but really wtf!? How did the people who tested them for magazines like Car and Driver manage to do a ~7.4 sec 0-60 and a ~15.7 1/4 mile. I honestly don't know how I can launch my car harder or shift quicker, it feels like I'm doing everything right, but apparently not...
There is a whole section dedicated to power, but there are plenty of things people overlook, or try to downplay the significance of :

Oil changes
Dirty air filters
Last time fuel injection cleaner was used
Tire pressure
Tire make/model/condition
Amount of fuel (weight)
Weight of driver
Weight of anything else in the car, floormats, spare tire, etc.
Elevation of testing ground
Uphill / Downhill
Relative humidity of that day (yes, it matters)

yadda yadda yadda.

Though, acceleration isn't everything. If you look at what the NEW cars these days are putting out, then you might be disappointed, but, if you consider what people ACTUALLY drive, the tC is quick.

But, this is a discussion for another day. Downloading that program for giggles.

LOL, there must be something wrong with my Iphone. I am getting anywhere from 22HP to 355 was todays reading. My favorite is 0-60 in 3.7

Either my app is messed up or my phone is

It is a pretty cool App though when it is actually working

It must be moving like mine was, look into different ways of securing it.

How much HP can you produce?

I wonder if this App will work on the new iTouch when that comes out in the next few months...

It's not confirmed, but it will happen. Just like how everyone knew the 3G iPhone was coming out when it wasn't confirmed yet. Right now, the iTouch is $100 more than the iPhone, without the phone, without the camera, without the 3G, etc. They NEED to put a new iTouch on the market and price it the same or less than the iPhone. I'd like to see a $200 8GB

Yeah my friend and I were talking about that ridiculous price difference. I dont understand why one should pay $100 more for the privilage of no phone, camera, or speaker, its weird. We eventually justified it in that to get the iPhone you have to sign a contract which might more than make up for that $100...

Well the reason the iPhone is so "cheap" now is b/c part of the cost of it is subsidized by AT&T like any other phone. That was NOT how it was originally done. So now they say it's so much "cheaper" but it's just a different kind of partnership.

That said, a cheaper iPod Touch is a necessity. At least at the pricepoint of the 3G.

Eh? First I have heard of that. Do you have a first gen or 3g? I haven't tried it yet on my 3g, but I may buy it.

i have a 3g

http://dynolicious.com/index-5.php

Q: The application crashes when I try to edit My Ride. What gives?
A: This seems to primarily be an issue with jailbroken phones, although we have had a small minority of 3G users complain about the problem. If you are not using a jailbroken phone and are experiencing this issue, please let us know. Some users have reported that by restoring their jailbroken phone to factory config, that they were able to successfully run Dynolicious. We are working on a fix to this issue, and will release an update as soon as possible.

Haha nice. Glad I didn't buy it yet. Someone will probably make a free alternative and put it on cydia anyways
