So here is the deal, over the past 4 months I have ammased about $500 in gift cards (the visa ones, from different incentives/promotions here at work) and decided that instead of using these to pay for my weekend getaway to Deals Gap, Im going to break down and buy myself a nice camera...

Here is the question...

What should I purchase and where would be the best place to get it from? Im basicly looking for something simple, kind of a starter camera deal. I guess you could say Im looking for another legal addiction.

the canon xs is cheaper but still pretty good. .
google "digital camera review" the first link should take u to a site all very in depth review.
xs and xsi both got Highly Recommend"

 

There's also the Nikon D40. Great starter camera also. Head to a Ritz Camera, or even Best Buy. Get your hands on both the Nikon and Canon and see which you like better. Start there and go...

 

yup the cannon and nikkon are are ya best bet i hear the cannon is a bit better but everyone has the one they like more, bias..sometimes the store that sells the camara has a class you can take for free that will teach how to use it ..im sure ya can find deals or work witht hem to see what ya can do my brother hangled a sales man at best buy and got a meme card and case for his camara

 

go with the Canon XSI. don't even worry bout the Nikon. Hands down a better camera. And nothing can top Canon glass in their lenses.
