Sad day in the local Scion community. A dear friend of a few of us on here has passed away after a terrible accident on the Long Island Expressway Interstate 495. You may have seen his car at various shows up and down the east coast under Scion VIP. 2005 Scion xA.

Rest In Peace Sal Gianni ... you truly were a car enthusiast and micro car to the bone. Sucks that you had to leave us so soon. I'm sure there will be a JDM I.S.T. waiting for you in that better place. Love you bro!

We were actually in the works of importing an actual I.S.T. for next season. Sucks a lot.

This kid was a blast and even though we never got too close, he had the ability to grow on you instantaneously.
We say that when a young soul leaves this world too soon it's because he would have had a tough future. So he's in a better place now, probably ordering an IST straight from Japan.

Be good my friend, you had a lot of people that cared for you.

 

What happened? Sux to hear someone go before their time, especially someone that is a part of so many people's lives & so young. My condolences to all affected by his passing and to his family.
