Raider Nation!
I know, most people probably won't admit this but are there any Raiders fans on here? I am a die hard fan and I was optimistic about this season. I just watched the Broncos DESTROY the Raiders. The movie Bad News Bears came to mind. It is going to be a LONG season.

I'm a RAIDER for LIFE!
but...
the sad part is that it doesnt look like my life is gonna get better anytime soon
I have faith tho! we're a young team and truthfully it cant get much worse from the disaster we had last season.
ps
I'm really happy to see that you made the thread, and that no matter what the TRUE Raiders fans have faith and love for our team and that there will always be a RAIDER NATION!

Sweet, I am not the only one lol. There is definitely hope for the future but I figured we would at least be decent this season. After last night I am not very optimistic. We dropped $70 million on Deangelo Hall just to watch him get BURNED by a roookie.

^^^I AGREE COMPLETELY!!!
I never liked that move! back in Atlanta he was pretty good but never great, and all we did was make him feel like somebody important (so he became lazy) by dropping $70 mill...
It was upsetting to see a rookie completely tear him apart!

That game was much better than DEN/OAK. I can't believe how good Aaron Rodgers played considering the weight of the world was on his shoulders.
Next week will be very telling for the Raiders. If we can't recover and beat the Chiefs then we just need to hang it up and wait for the '09 season. Bring on the #1 draft pick!! Oh wait, we won't be able to afford a #1 pick lol.

Hah yeah he got run over, but later on in the game he gave him a good lick. Yea that Peterson is pretty damn good. I was too also amazed at how well Aaron Rodgers played. He had like a 81.8% completion rating.

So the new Fox Sports power rankings are out and the Raiders are dead last.

I'm completely bummed my team (Steelers) isn't playing on the Left Coast this year.
Ben Roethlisberger had GAME on Sun.; 13 of 14 for 137 yards and a rating of 147.0.
I was hoping they would come out to Oak-Town so I could drive up and see them. Oh well.
I honestly like to watch college football over the NFL. Too many overpriced babies who would rather
look pretty than get dirty. And it's the owners fault because the are the ones giving players like Hall
millions of $$$ in the first place. Watching the NFL is just another excuse for me to drink beer and
eat RRRRREEEEEAAAALLLLYYYYY bad food!!
