Default Route 66

I know they say from Chicago to LA; it takes two weeks to drive?

Question here is, "How long will it take a Scion tC as youthful driver; driving?" You know, not stopping at each tourist attraction?

-------
I'm thinking of driving my tC there & back only stopping for sleep, food, "Jane" breaks, gas. Possibly, a kick a$$ desert photo session with Route 66 as backdrop if I do ever buy my expensive camera?

I want to go on a vacation by myself. Crank music, drink 24 packs of Mountain Dew while enjoying my finally finished modded Scion tC along the historical US 66. Use my paid time off to good use; next Summer.

If I can only drive to AZ & back; that will be just as good.

My sister moved to LA in July. They drove. Didn't take Rt 66, but they did pretty much drive the whole time. I think it took them 4 days.

If the Gumball 3000 rally drivers can drive from Los Angeles to Florida in 3-4 days, you can do it too.

^^^ I was thinking about that too.

But I will have to get a Valentine 1 if that was the plan? LOL

------
I just need a vacation anywhere? I haven't had one since 2000 I really don't want to leave my car in Wisconsin?

So I thought of packing up backpack, a blanket, my pillow, loads of junk food, and the important car things. Take the tC for a Toyota tech "pre-check up" and just drive.

Go sometime next July or June....
