Alright, so the verdict is in, Saddam is supposed to be hanged tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern, seven p.m. Pacific. Or 6a.m. Baghdad time. Any one else think all hell is gonna break loose??

i am also certain that it isnt going to happen. their is no possible way that the US can give iraq custody of Sadaam Hussein without any complications, even if it is minutes before his hanging.

I think it will happen. He should wish his trial had been in Jackson, MS. He'd be a free man, walkin' the streets. Unless he PO'd the DA, then, he'd be tried quickly.....

Don't think killing Saddam will cause anything much outside of Iraq. Most people in the world have their own things to do, and and guys that would blow themselves up would do it sooner or later anyways. Sucks for Saddam though, don't even get to live till he sees 2007.

It's hard to say if he was given a fair trial in this case. Sure he acted like a fool during the trial, but he's just using Michael Jackson as a sucessful example. And looking at the pictures and events from that part of the world, I am starting to think maybe Saddam's way is the only way to keep things under control.

Zinker, don't be too happy. A dead saddam just means a messier iraq. I know a few guys who has been sent there, and a few are still there. None of them were looking forward to this. Keep yourself safe there, it's a place I would hate to be at.

 

Yeah I understand that, but it may help other parts of the world as Iran, Hezbollah, and the Kuwaitees view it as a celebratory event and in their eyes that we finally did good. I will be safe. and I'll be back

also, i read that he hung for 10 minutes before the doctor announced him officially dead.

 

i wonder how long before the videos show up online.

 

It would have been better to have shackeled his legs and arms, and then drop him into a pen full of hungry pigs.

 

Actually, it was better to have him hanged since that is what he did to the majority of the people he had executed.
