If you guys are getting these XMODS for speed, then you're buying the wrong toys. I used to race Pro Off-Road with my Team Losi XXXNT, there is not a single part on this thing that hasnt been touched. I used to race my friends Real Cars for laughs and giggles, sad thing is, it's faster. From idle to WOT it will actually flip over backwards if you do it to quickly.

It will go 60mph +/- but in actual MPH not scale.

I called my local radio shack and they also said there are new models coming but didn't know which models . They said the new editions should be out for Christmas . I asked what that meant, and they said late October . I want a RC tC!

...and if you're buying a tC for speed, the same holds true.

like the tC though, these things are highly customizable and that's the appeal. real cars or r/c, it's less about *****-to-the-wall speed and more about choosing a fun, economical platform and seeing how far you can push it.

so yours go about 10 mph faster than mine? i had bigger nitro trucks and cars to but these seem to be way more fun to me esecually when you put the drift wheels on ..

to make yours faster or just all billet parts go to www.atomicmods.com

suggestion to every one buy the lithium battery kit ! the car runs for over 25 30 min or longer and triples speed !

I finally have news.. such as it is..
My roommate says RadioShack doesn't put out tags for products that are going to be released more than a month away. He thinks they'll be in the stores by the end of August.. BUT he doesn't know which model(s) will come first.. HOPEFULLY they'll release them all at once like all the other batches. If/When I hear more, I'll slap the info up here as soon as I figure it out..

I dunno about what other models.. The tC is definite though. I highly doubt they'll have xB's or xA's.. It doesn't fit RadioShack's pattern of models for the XMods..

Actually all new XMod models start at $49.99 and the older models will drop to $39.99. Yes, accessories will be available immediately. That you can count on. Its how they've done all the previous XMods releases. What good is having an upgradeable car for sale when you can't buy upgrades for it yet? :-D RadioShack's employees are taught to push push push accessories for products that the customer is buying. So of course they'll have them available at the same time. I know. I worked for them for long time.

I thought all the accessories were supposed to be interchangeable between all the cars? i.e. motors, wheels, suspension, etc. Are you guys saying you have to buy specific upgrades for your specific car?

Ditto! The only thing interchangeable with the bodykits are the grilles on the Evolution body kits.
