Getting to what Mike was saying about ___ guys who act girly (flamers), I'm not big on them myself. Granted, I don't know very many personally, but I've come across a few in my travels. Usually I just think they're funny. And as long as they're comfortable with who they are, I say more power to them. But because of the whole theme of exacerbated femininity, I just couldn't see myself dating someone like that. I'm attracted to guys because they're masculine.

I don't know how we get started on margaritas and theater, but I can't say I'm into either of those. Well, I lie. I'm an alcholic in training, so if you put in front of me, I'd probably down it.

As far theater (theatre?), I'd much rather work on my car. Probably because it's a big misconception that ___ guys don't know much about them. The only thing on my car that I didn't put on myself was the coilovers. I would have done it myself but I didn't have air tools so I got my friend Brian, who has his own, to help me with it. Aside from SL, I'm not one of those people who advertises his er...gayness. But sometimes I'm tempted to slap a rainbow sticker on my back window and go to a car show and make people turn their heads. I'd be like, yeah...a queer built that.

*I'd just like to take this time to note that the SL language filter sucks. I wanted to use the f-word (the one that rhymes with bag) in place of queer, but I just realized it changes it to "meanie."*

 

How the hell does that equal meanie?

 

The filter isn't very well tuned yet. It used to prohibit even "___"... made it into "happy".

You all do realize: we could not have had this sort of thread on SL six months ago.

Things have changed for the better. People are beginning to see more and see better. They are tolerating. They are more relaxed and perhaps happier for us, seen to be speaking openly.

We don't mean to offend anyone and now, we don't!

I'm getting a sense that some people here are worried too much about what they say being potentially offensive. I know I don't speak for every ___ person on SL, but as long as you're not marching around with signs that say "God Hates Gays," a little joke never hurt anyone.

Angelina ...hmm she's OK. I am one of those guys that does not get all excited with famous females ..i'm rather one of those that thinks girls around me every day look better.

IN fact I find it funny sometimes how guys get so excited over girls like say Paris Hilton (omg yuck??) and there are girls where I work that would blow here away in terms of looks!!

I also have seen what a girl looks like, most guys act like they have never seen anything before...like the girls gone wild crap....boring?? Show me something I havent seen...and ive got a gf I see it anytime I want. Big friggin deal!!

Nothing wrong with the everyday hotties. Trust me, I'm in college and they're all over the place. I don't sweat hollywood guys that much myself. All the ones that people usually say are the hottest do absolutely nothing for me like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, etc. I really like Dominic Monaghan (Charlie from LOST) because he's got a unique look. He's so adorable! :D
