late to get a pass? it's never too late. the passes are annual by the date you buy it, so if you get one today it is good until june 14, 2007.

anyway, for annual passholders -- there's a bunch of us who meet the 2nd friday of each month @ ariel's grotto in dca. it's a cool group of guys. so i'm putting it out there as an invite for next month to anyone from here who might want to join us. just let me know. be cool to meet some fellow scion gays.

no typo, i did type ___ (consider the thread we're posting in!). but anyone can show up. last time there were 2 str8 couples and 1 single str8 boy. so yah, you dont have to be ___ to be there. but its not a scion thing; its a disney thing. as far as i know, im the only scion enthusiast there.

you will love having the stiffy. (omg that sounds so kinky...*snicker*)

i have it. its way better than weapon-r's engine damper, which i had first. i prefer ingalls. makes a diff in wheel hop, too. give it a try with the default stiffness, then try going to the max damping. i'd be interested to hear how you like it at the different settings.

 

i'm in the beginning stages of installing it right now... the engine is too hot to work around. I'm trying to get the first bolt off of the motor mount and everytime i move the ratchet, i burn my fingers to all hell. this might take a while

 

i hope you were able to install it without burning yourself.

yes, i got it installed. everything went alright, and the damper feels great. I decided to play with it yesterday at a light and did a 2300 rpm clutch drop; the car just stuck and went off with no spin, and that's on the stock setting (which is pretty soft according to the directions).

now all i need to do is find a large open ended wrench to adjust it.
