I was never allowed to have an Nintendo or what have you as a child... SO I guess that by this point in life, I don't miss it, so I don't want it. I get bored enough watching my bf make tunes on the computer... another distraction would make me so mad....

yay for wii!

I still like the digi cam and the loaded frame thing.

I wouldn't get some uber fancy cam, just get one that is small and fits in her purse but still takes a decent shot.

they make em in all kinds of crazy colors now, see if you can get one in her favorite color maybe.

Now I have to get Erik to read this...

Sony N1....I got mine right when it came out, like a year & a half ago & it was $499 (i got it as a bday present), I'm sure theyve come down in price, theyre super small, have a 3" lcd touchscreen, plays music, does slideshows, has paint in it, & it's 8.1 megapixels. It's really small & sleek. I'm sure its come down in price.

OH, &&&&&& it has a built in memory card (or you can add your own).

something you could consider too in the future, if you haven't already, start a scrapbook. include stuff from the first date and pics (especially of significant events or trips). then give it to her on one of your anniversaries, and if you guys go in for the long haul then you continue building it together. not only will you be showing that you really care about your relationship, but it'll mean a lot to her that you're spending time with her on such a thing.

the idea that "shoultesy" had was a really good one too.

Hehe I think I might be the only girl on this thread that knows what the "butterfly" is lol! It's not a bad idea to get a sexual toy if he's into that and you're in to it. Or if you want to make it more fun in bed. I've gotten stuff like that before >.> but just on random days.

ChelsDS, you're not the only girl who knows that it is. lol

I agree with purpled_out_tC and shoultesy. You two should spend the day making a scrapbook and if you don't have any pictures, you can go out with your camera now and take pictures of significant places to the both of you. It'd be even better if you got materials from those places too, so you can add them into the scrap book, like shoultesy said about the love letters and the matchbooks, etc...

that's right. Take it from the old broad. :D
for my birthday my bf took a painting that my son did in school (he was in Kindergarden at the time he made it) and had it framed. BEST GIFT EVER!
when they say its the thought that counts.... its the thought that counts. Material goods only make you happy for a small time and chances are in a few weeks or months you don't even remember the gift. Remember being little and getting oodles of stuff for you b'day and then someone asking you a bit later what Aunt Rose got you and you had NO idea... kinda like that...[/code]
I really like your advice. I can relate to it. And yes, I don't want to get her something that she won't use months down the road.

Me & my boyfriends 4 year anniversary is coming up & I'm kinda stumped, too. I feel bad for him though because there's my bday (Dec 23rd), Christmas (Dec 25), & then our 4 year anniversary (January 24th). He's screwed.

Luckily we're both into cars (he has an Evo), so I'm sure all of our presents to each other will be car related. Maybe I'll ask him to get my roll cage powdercoated, hmmm....you see, now YOU'VE got me thinking.
I would get her the Wii but right now it's something she doesn't necessarily need you know? haha, It's better to start thinking early before the huge Christmas rush!

Haha yeah, I stopped Gaming over 3 years ago, but when my buddy introduced me to the Wii, with a lot of convincing and edifying, I was hooked! But now I don't game again cause of my busy dance schedule.

It went down to the point where it was out of stock everywhere! Haha, but thanks for the idea. The DSC-T70 is touchscreen, so...

She made me a scrapbook for our one year. On our two year, instead of scrapbook, I made her two photo albums, one of our first year together and the other of our second. I used to be a picture *****, so luckily that went into my advantage when I put it together. But thanks for the idea

Inside was memories of our special moments together and then this is what happened. On the last page there were two silver small jewelry boxes, I was curious why it was there because there was nothing on either page that was a previous memory with us, rather just two silver boxes. I got curious, looked at her, she smiled, and I decided to take it out and open it; And inside was the promise rings engraved on the inside, "You and no other."

so i'm listening to BIIM and thought of something esle; make up a CD of songs that describe how you feel about her (i.e. alicia keys "no one"), that is if she's into R&B and if you haven't done such before. and give it a good title, not the generic stuff like "slow jams".

I did that one our 6-month anniversary. (Yeah I know some ppl debate Whether or not to celebrate that day. but she wanted to; so what did i do? Shut my mouth, agreed on it, and spoiled the living crap out of her. And when I mean spoiled....asflaksj...i'll just mention one thing I did cause it could go on for hours....After our lovely dinner, I took her back home and when she opened the door, all you could see was a trail of red rose pedals from the door all the way upstairs to her room where my gifts to her sat on her bed with a few lighted candles surrounding the room.

So what's why I'm asking for your help cause I've done a lot in our relationship so far and I needed fresh ideas. So once again, THANK YOU ALL who have helped me so far
