Even if I thought this movie was going to be good (which I don't) I still wouldn't go see it. Why? Because I HATE SNAKES! They freak me out big time. I'm not kidding....I don't like to see them in real life or on TV. I can't even watch Jeff Corwin. There's no way I'm watching an entire movie about snakes.

You know with a little creative letter placement, and a deep self hypnosis, you can go watch that movie if you just think of it as "Snacks on a Plane" Although that wouldn't account for your optical input of a bag of peanuts lunging at a woman's face....hmmmm we should think more of this.

OK, I am all for 'Snacks On A Plane'.....Starring Fat Albert and Big Mamma. The evil foil to the plot is Richard Simmons....

The movie was hyped majorly because of its name. Then it proceeded to set some records, 3 most notibly a. being the first movie to generate more buzz then any other and have a bigger "cult" following then anyother b. the only movie to date to go back and shoot extra scenes to give it the R rating, and C because its been the only movie date to go back and have a scene added due to internet buzz(ie sammy gettnig to drop the F bomb the orginal script didnt have it.) Its been so popular the movie has an artical in my company monthly magazine( i work for time warner cable). So all those plus all the marketing guranteed a hit movie. Sammy actually signd on to this without raeding the scripit "why the title says it all." and as he said at the mtv vmas, "Go see the greatest movie to ever be made on august 18th Snakes on a mfn Plane and it will only be surpassed as the greatest movie of all time only if a squeal is made called more mfn snakes on more mfn planes."

i was surprised at how much this movie exceeded my expectations. i was on the bandwagon initially months ago for the internet buzz and then dropped off the last 3 months cause it got old, and i figured the movie could not possibly live up to that kind of hype. but it more than lives up to it.

also on all the forums and gossip sites i've been on all the people who have been like "this movie is going to be ___, wont live up to the hype, not wasting my money on such a stupid movie" that actually did go to see it have all said they were surprised at how good it actually was. even my best friend who hated me for being in on the hype for this movie was laughing his ___ of and admitted it was good

i wouldn't suggest waiting for dvd, i dont think it'd be the same with this particular movie, the atmosphere of the audience/theatre adds alot to it

Just watched it last night.

It was

AWESOME!!

As long as you don't take the movie seriously (which it certainly didn't), it's a great bad movie. My old lady hated it because it was like a 'dumb TBS TV movie.' If TBS hade made this movie, they would have probably gone the serious route and it would have sucked ****. The fact the the entire movie is tounge in cheeck makes it priceless. I loved it!

Possible sequels:

Spiders on a Plane
Scorpions on a Plane
Skunks on a Plane
Sharks on a Plane <--I'm sure the special effects on that would be great! :D Let's just hope that scuba Jackson doesn't get eaten while giving his "I'm sick of these m*therf*ckin' sharks on this m*ther*ckin' plane" speech.
