Agreed, the first period was phenomenal and the hits were extreme! If Edmonton coulda kept up that pace it would've been a completely different ending.

I hate to say it, but Carolina wins the cup at home next game.

i wouldnt say they "owned" it, both played great (im glad staal's back!), pisani took atvantage of a horrible pass accross the middle. cam is prolly our mvp but it was a good shot to the yop of the net... best game ive watched all season though without a doubt

 

it was def. best game so far
great hits,good scoring,overall just a great hockey game to watch

if Edmonton would stay the F out of the box, we'd be ok

 

tru, we took atvatntage of the power-plays, specially 1st period, 2 for 4 right in the 1st right? yea, lots of good hits, i think my team took the blunt of most the bad ones though, they all came back at the end thank god

i also enjoyed watching Wesley gettin blasted in a few earlier games

you guys were 3/6 i think total in power plays, which was worrying me at the end

 

yea yea, i saw ward go down like a tree, i imagine that ish hurt though, right to the inside ankle-ouch! they havnt been a real hard hitting team all year, they tend to sacrifice their bodies for better position on the puck, it could cost them one day

 

they started hitting back last night, which was nice to see

naahhhh, it'll be a close game tonight. cole's back, brindamore(SP) is amped, A. ward will have an amazing game watch him. staal will have at least 2 points (maybe not goals but assits+goals combined) and cam will, well he'll be cam

 

oh, i know it will be good game (hopefully)
cole was going at it sat. night, but only was doing 20second shift
he started hitting a lil harder after he got rocked early in the game
