It turns out the only place you can see Russia from Alaska is in a remote island where no governor has visited in years.

So why did Palin lie to us about being able to see Russian when she never did at all?

I think McCain and Obama aren't that good either but Palin is just plain terrible.

 

I think, quite honestly, that this gaff is the lesser of her many shortcomings.
