It's been my experience that mom groups are the worst thing in parenting. only about 10% (if that) of the moms are actually interested in helping the other moms, while the rest of them are there for no other reason to show the other mommys how to be a proper mommy and that they themselves are the greatest mommy ever. There seems to be an atmosphere of one-upsmanship in the competition for who is the best mommy, and it's all bs.

Case in point, the comment above. I know dang well that every mom on that board takes their kid to play areas. What's different about the BK play area vs a park play area? Please. There were probably one or two of the lead hens on that board that genuinely think it's horrible parenting to expose a kid to those nasy germ infested play area, and the rest of them were just following in step.

Mom groups are evil.

Back to the topic at hand: Keep some anti-bac-goo in the truck and at the house. If I've been playing with the dog, or cleaning something nasty, I wanna kill that stuff before I pick up the baby. We're not **** about the germs, because the boy does have to build his resistance and the only way to do that is to get sick.
and thats why they have chicken-pox parties
