wtf is up with those guys putting those boards under there cars, or shall i call it a "body kit". its so ugly!!!!! it just sticks out of the car so much

 

i would imagine that style started as a way of making fun of the aftermarket (rice) scene and it kind of caught on of who could out do who. I dont see the owners actually thinking it looks good.

 

hey some owners "think" Kaminari body kits on azure pearl tCs looks good...

I am trying to talk my wife into us getting stationed in Japan. Then I will find out what the deal is. But she wants Germany.

I have it all planned out. I plan on spending alot of time at junkyards and part stores and online.
I did it when I lived in Germany on the Audi boards and VW boards. I would go on and see who wanted what, then take a list to the junk yard. I kept it small, Headlights, taillights, mirrors, emblems, steering wheels.
But I cant talk my wife into moving there. Ohh to own a skyline for under 10grand

 

My girlfriend sent this to me today. It's really hard to pick out but that Civic was wrapped in Astroturf. No seriously.

astroturf? damn, wha was he thinkin. a couple a years ago when i was headin to HIN in san mateo i saw a ek civic coated wif sea shells, i thought that was bad.

 

Not aerodynamic, but sure is more rugged and durable than Scion paint!
