its better then seeing that on a civic ill say that

if anyone has talked to a corvette owner for more then 15min you will be "surprised" to find out that the corvette is the best car that’s ever been made...there is nothing it cant do better then anything else....(i had a guy argue with me that his corvette got better MPG then my box....) it is alot of fun to say "Porsche" or "911" and watch then all look over there shoulders nervously, try it some time hahaa

yeah I don't see the hype AT ALL it looks like a squished fly, but I guess the reason people defend the car so much is because it's the best known 'fast american' car in the world.

lost any respect for them when i found the C6 Corvette and Malibu SS (and i think the Cobalt SS) share the same steering wheel.....

Edit - i see the Corvette as a 'tweener. save $20k and get a Mustang GT and get 8/10th the performance and the same build quality...or spend the extra $20k and get a 911 with much better interior/ride/handling. the vette might be faster in a straight line but real life isnt straight roads

Then spend $10k of that on performance...and you'll kill the 'Vette

haha yea well...dont say that to loud around a corvette owner.

frankly if i was to get a performance oriented car i want something that i can use to near its full potential...thats one of the reasons I love my xB...i can drive it hard, have tons of fun, and still be with in the realm of accepted speeds (and get 30mpg). if i wanted a faster car i would pick up a MK5 GTI. i dont really see a way you can truly use on the road anymore then that car offers

that's why I like my egg too, you can use it to most of it's potential legally on the road.

Driving a car with an unpainted body kit on it like this is like going about your daily routine with your underwear on the outside of your clothes...I mean WTH!?

I sure hope he will get it painted, it just hasn't been painted yet. Hopefully, he will realize that he destroyed a kinda cool car.

I saw this piece of **** at the local mall. Notice the fit and finish. Take a look at the potential for lift off with that front bumper.

Ah fit and finish...... biggest issue among body kits.
Havent found one yet that doesnt have a wrinkle or isnt wavy.
Im trying to load pic of a Lancer thats in our shop right now.... drywall screws and duct tape are holding most of kit on....its a real cherry I tell ya.

that's not too bad. the gaps are a bit of an eyesore but it isn't as bad as 95% of the cars in this thread.
