That DC5 is nice. That was my first choice of a car before I got my tC. But if having a Honda emblem on an Integra is rice than xBs with the toyota emblem must be rice too.

Wouldn't that depend upon the vehicle? Carbon fiber anything on an econobox grocery-getter is strictly cosmetic, unless you're trying to shave a couple of seconds off that run to Safeway. Same goes for wheels, wings, etc.

It's cool that someone make up an acronym to match the word "rice" but the word, even in this context, has been around far longer than the acronym. I remember it being applied to over-done motorcycles in the '70s.

I'm not feeling that reverse skunk stripe. It looks like the car hasn't slept in days and it's got bags under it's headlights, too.

Ever gotten there just a couple seconds after someone takes the last item that's on sale? F'ing infuriating... And maybe I'm just a bit weird, but every time I hear "Safeway", I think of the Dave Chapelle joke about men telling stories vs. women telling stories.

 

you are correct it's purely cosmetic....i do not race my car or consider that a drastic change in its weight.
