I wouldn't be suprised that car has a small block with a shot of nos that would beat us in a 1/4 mile.

From Rides:
VIP, pronounced “vip” is more complicated than just being a Mafioso-influenced car culture, however. “Simply put, it’s an expensive, luxurious style fused with a mysterious Yakuza [mob] element, exuding strength and fear,” cryptically explains Hiroshi Yoshikawa from VIP tuner Rando. So, are they really the rides of the notorious Japanese organized crime syndicate, or do the hoods just play a part in the trendsetting? “[VIP] is totally different from Yakuza culture,” responds famous VIP aftermarket company Junction Produce’s president Takahiro Takatomi. “Granted, some of the Yakuza like VIP-style cars. That is why many people think VIP equals Yakuza.” The vague answers about the real connection between the Yakz and VIP seem to only add to the mystique that makes VIP’s aura so tough and even criminal. “In Japan, the ‘VIP style’ has a bit of a negative connotation for the general public,” says Nobuhiro Hashiba, the International Manager of AME, a popular VIP wheel company. “It’s got sort of a bad-boy image.”

VIP Style or VIP car is very simple. Pronounced VIP or bippu not vee-eye-pee, like how we are used to saying it, but it is pronounced like a word. In Japan there is a large variety of luxury sedans available to purchase. VIP car starts with just that, the platform or the car. Its not a VIP Car unless it starts with one of these cars. From Toyota, you have the Century, Celsior, Aristo, Crown, and Majesta. From Nissan you have the President, Cima, Gloria, Cedric, and the Q45. Then they take these platforms and merge on a massive bodykit, larger rims that push the boundaries of offset fitment, an air suspension so that they can drive as low as they possibly can, and we can't forget about the exhausts that goes on these VIP Cars.
However the view of VIP Car or VIP Style Cars is being EXTREMELY skewed in the US and leaves the hardcore VIP Car enthusiast with a sour taste in its mouth. VIP Car starts with the platform first. 350Zs, G35s, Scions, Accords, and other cars are defining the VIP Style Car…
