My b/f reserved a copy at gamestop for his xbox....but...i'm not convinced I like this game enough yet to even think about getting it for my ps3....i'm addicted to mortal kombat (like, an unhealthy addiction)

 

SF is WAYYYYY better than MK. MK makes u do just LONG combos instead of just using a simple fighting technique for everyone. So that way u can fight with any character and learn their style quickly. And u don't have to worry bout remembering the TONS of combos that can be up to 10 or more buttons in one sequence.

MK hasn't been good since like number 3.

 

Oouuchh haahha -- I do agree in that the combos are long and frustrating sometimes (especially for a dyslexic person like myself "Wait, forward + square 3x, then X 4x? Dammit, I meant triangle!")

But....I do have Mortal Kombat on PS2, PS3 and PSP....i'm so addicted... I'll have to watch gameplay of SF to see if I can enjoy it. It looks too cartoon -ish for me and not bloody enough....but we shall see

 

cartoonish is just the style of SF. Go look at the old SF games. It is arcade style action and game. Simple = good and fun. Complex = frustrating and not fun.

Nice! I love how the game isn't street dated and they're just selling it if they get it.

Nope. There are some retailers that actually have their legit copies out there. And since the game isn't street dated, they have full reign to sell it if they've got it.

i think sf is bit over rated at times and some people are hella ___ and cheap doing one move the whole game thats why im not a big fan of it...

I already paid my copy of SF4 off. All I gott do now is wait for tuesday to get off work to go get it. Then I'm off the two following days! Omg I can't wait. 2 1/2 days of pure SF4 madness!
