Default suggest me a magazine

Ever since I got my tc, I became very interested in cars. So far I only see magazines about articles talking about how good their cars is. But Im looking for something to develop my knowledge and skills about cars and hands on education. Are there any magazines that gives tips on maintence, modifacations, or even engineering your own car? I'm looking for something that is more into mainsteram cars such as 350z, evo, and especailly the tC.

thx for the help

Sport Compact Car has a project tC and they've been wrenching on it recently especially regarding their supercharger.

Some folks believe, meanwhile, that the editors of this magazine and others similar to it have no idea what they're really doing.

Grassroots Motorsports. Great mag for someone wanting to actually learn about what is possible to do with their own cars. All of the "Modifieds" or "Tuners" mags are about cars that are typically well out of the general population's price range. GRM actually finds cars for cheap and builds them up on a budget. Not a lot in there on Scions, but if you want to learn, it is probably the best publication out there.

Yeah, Modified would be your best bet... although lots of stuff they talk about is expensive... they have a lot of show cars with all their mods listed and stuff.

But I've learned a lot more from these forums than from the mags... if anything just go to Tower and grab all the tuner mags and have a sit down...

i read the same. i got tired of modified since all they feature is decked out cars for shows.

GRM is

even tho you wont see a scion on it for now you will learn alot from what they do and apply most of the techniques on what you do.

but its also nice to have a few mainstream tuner magazine to see what the scene is doing.

I just happened to find one of these this weekend. This mag is simply amazing. Very in depth on how stuff works on "imports". Check out the website and see for yourself: www.tprmag.com
