the stars from my left arm will cascade onto my back and around the piercings and nautical star .
i gotta start drawing up all the automotive ____ for my right arm soon cause i'm sposed to get it done next week .

I suppose I could actually post here now... I've had a tattoo for probably just 2 and a half months. I had considered getting one for a while but never had any ideas that would mean anything.
Then my grandfather died in March. It sucked. A lot. He was pretty much a replacement for my father when I was growing up so he meant a lot (and still does).
So I got his initials as a reminder of everything I learned from him:

It's nothing crazy or drastic or wild... but it's important.

I am gonna leave it how it is. I have other plans for my back that will tie it all it together. This is where I got my logo from.

I have to take a pic of mine so I could post but I have my boyfriend's name tattooed on me.... I know I know.... STUPID! I'm still with him I actually got it after our first fight after dating for about 4 months... 2 years later we're still together and I love him to death but that is something I wish I wouldn't thought twice about.
It's 2 linked hearts with his name running across it with a banner with his name with a tribal background... not too big and in a place only he gets to view it from...
I guess he really knows that I love him! But I am looking forward to my next one!

Here's my newest one...i got it on my birthday in April.

each star represents a different person that was murdered in our family just over a year ago. My wife kind of came up with the saying "they are kind of like stars, they are always there but you can't always see them".

Here are mine...

Thinking about getting one on my neck (on my birthmark) but frown at it just in case I decide to get a corporate job or something...
I also forgot to mention that the top one is Bruce Lee's School of Jun Fan logo (I'm a big Bruce Lee fan hence the nickname Sifu) and the bottom one is a Hmong tapestry design.
