The one on my foot is a year and a half old. Tight 3? It's a "K"... I can't figure out how it looks like a 3??? haha.

I've asked plenty of artists and they said it'll take more wear and tear down the road. She did it 1: because I told her I didn't really care and 2: because I wear heels 5-6 days a week, and flip flops the rest, sooo it shouldn't really take TOO much of a beating since my shoes never touch it.


Thanks for the comment on my Scion one. Actually, at a meeting in Chicago in March, the manager of the regionals for the midwest region was there and snagged a photo of it. So I'm thinking it's going to turn up in a magazine or newsletter somewhere. The guy that worked on it did a phenomeonal job.

 

weelo, is talking about the lining on your foot. I don't know exactly what he means, but i'm guessing it has something to do with how thin the lining is

 

yes i was talking about the needle size, smaller needle groups make for thinner lines, and it doesnt matter shoes or not, the foot is one of those spots that the cells in your skin will break down the ink the quickest cause you are always walking, sweating, ect on your feet. for a tattoo to look good for years down the road on the foot, you must keep it simple, and use a larger needle group. and if you wanted it small then so be it. i just love working at a shop and everyday having at least one person walk in wanting us to fix an old tattoo that was done small and try to make it look like it once did, but your right, its your foot, your tattoo, so enjoy it, what do i really know anyways...

cap, the green colored one is kinda cool. headed in a nice direction. the 2nd to last one looks girly, imo. the colors in the first one were nice, is it just a design or is there a meaning behind it?
