Default Throwin a peace.

Just a thought. I'll throw some respect at any Scion I see, but the only people throwin a peace back are other tC's. Should we be showing respect to the xA's and xB's?

If you find that in your area, other Scion owners don't give some sort of acknowldedgement to others, then don't worry about it.

In my area, I have given up on it. Every scion owner either seems stuck up, or just some brat whos parents bought them their car and they could care less about it.

So, I enjoy my own car and I dont toot or honk or wave or flash my beams at any other scions unless they do it first.

I usually show acknowledgement to any scion owner whether it be xA or Xb...unless of course you can tell right away they really could care less what they're driving..once in awhile I get a response back but in most cases it's an "older person" that just got the scion because it was affordable or an occasional stuck up scion owner... I've just come to accept that most aren't as into scion or scions as some of us are..either that or they are too busy to notice what was honking at them lol

the peace is already taken by the mr2 owners.

but seriously, almost everyone just looks at you funny if you're in a more "common" car.

It's more prevalent for motorcyclists to acknowledge each other...Corvette drivers have had "the wave" for ages...not something I have ever seen or heard about amongst Scion drivers.

down here in T town if i pull up on a Scion I always look to acknowledge em but most of the time its a "older person" who doesn't look at the "young stupid drivers" i get more acknowledgement from the Evo's and Tiberon's around town than anything... they have said that they love the BIG "scion" across the windscreen..

It's true. Most scion owners that I see are pretty old! That is weird because Scion is a brand aimed at the younger generation...whats up with that? I do notice other scion owners checking out my car, but they never wave or nod. I try to at least do something, but it seems like the other owners don't giva____.

We should come up with some gesture so that we all can show respect to each other if we see each other on the road. I propose that we come up with some kind of hand wave.

Lots of waves down here. Mostly because we al know each other or have seen each other at events. New owners don't wave for a while, but every now and then coming across a 4-way stop you can expect a wave or two from other owners.

I give a wave of blink the lights every chance I get... abd I usually get zip in return... BUT, at least they know that someone has noticed their car and maybe next time, they will do the same. I just feel like I have planted a seed. And next time they see this goofy old man in an xA, they will get another "hidey-up".

I am stubborn.
