while working on my 2012 tc and 1987 supra i have noticed that toyota is spelled both toyota and toyoda on many of the partss why is this how its spelled in japan or just something that a company who makes parts for toyota does???

toyoda is the guy who made company i believe.....

Yeah that's the founder's name.

The company was a family name until 1946 (I believe, this is just from memory), then the family wanted to separate the business from their name so they went to "Toyota".
