TRANSFORMERS!! **possible spoilers**
Fun movie! Loved it. You know that trailer, the one with no name at the end. Transformer sequal. During the scenes of that trailer there are many similarities as in the movie. The "asteroids" flying down, the rumbling earthquakes etc. Plus the fact that at the end of Transofrmers it was primed for a sequal. EX> Optimus Primes speach at the end and if you sat through the credits you saw StarScream leave the earths atmsophere(for help maybe for part 2???) just a thought?

Still, much better than the beetle.
As far as how Bumblebee performed, he's always been a guy that was more talk than action, so him getting messed up isn't a far stretch.
Saw it last night and loved it
My wife didn't even think it was that bad. We loved how it had a comedy feel with all the one liners, it definitely enforced the fact that it used to be a cartoon.
My favorite scene: when Sam's parents bust in and talk to him about his "happy time" and then the chick pops up...clasic

i still think it would have been better if bumblebee was a beatle, and if starscream was red white and blue, and if megatron actually looked like frickin megatron.... but i guess they needed this movie to appeal to a wider audience than just transformer fans...
My favorite scene IMO....Spoilers Below:
Was when the FBI raided the house, and they started chasing that Huge black dude (dont know his name) and he smashed through the sliding glass door and got tackled into the pool, yelling COPS COPS COPS!!..laughed so freakin hard

I saw the movie last night...FRINGGIN AWSOME! I loved it! Being a Transformer fan and playing with the toys back in the 80's (The Real Diecast Toys, Not that crap they sell today) I could nit pick at this film all day long for all, but I told myself that this was a new film and went with it. Yes Bumble Bee wasnt a Beetle like he should have been and I think its crap that GM had there hand in the film....But I can understand for budgeting. Devastator was a Single robot...What happened to the Constructicons that would join together to form Devastator....But thats me, so rather than b!tch about the changes made..I just accepted it for what it is...a kickarse summer blockbuster.
One of my favorite things was the air freshner hanging on Bumble Bee's mirror of a Bumble Bee with the word "BEE-OTCH" on it
So many holes left it WIDE open for several Sequels..I cant wait for!

It definitely kicked ___, I'll gladly put down another $10 to see it in the theater again. I wasn't a huge Transformers fan growing up (I was all about the Go-Bots), but when I saw the first teaser posters up in theaters, I knew this would be a kick ___ movie, and damn was it ever. And holy ____, Megan Fox is so amazingly hot in that, I wish I could transform into a thong of hers....
:D
By the way, did anyone who saw it get a kick that the classic taglines of "More than meets the eye" and "Robots in disguised" were used? I honestly think I was the only person in the theater that laughed out loud when I heard that, it was priceless. And even though the product placement for GM was a "tad" excessive, I think overall the movie works as a modern interpretation of a classic toy line. Definitely the best movie I've seen in a long time.

Here ya go Big_Bird:

Definatly one of my favorites movies. I saw the second showing on the 4th and it was PACKED one hour before, and it was one of the biggest theaters in the complex. What was awesome was that parents who took their kids would get into conversations with other parents reminiscing about the cartoon/toys and how they couldn't wait to watch.
Anyone notice the homage to Bad Boys when Frenzy was fighting the 3 in the Sector 7 radio room?
I also loved the how they made all the transformers more human-like on how they acted and interacted with the actors, like in the scene in Sam's backyard. Especially when his parents looked outside and Optimus was leaning against the house, Bumblebee and Jazz were huddled in the porch and Ironhide was on the side of the house.
I will definatly be seeing it again this weekend.

I also liked the way they rolled around like monkeys when fighting...not robotlike, but awesome nonetheless.
The Australian girl's hacker friend and his cousin was freakin hilarious, especially when his cousin was running from the S7 guys, that made my belly hurt from laughing so hard.
The thread hasn't gone to crap because they're asking about the chicks that were in the movie, it's still on topic.
