OK, I don't know why i'm going to bother posting this in my thread cause everyone who is sitll paying attention to this thread is in the other ones too, but Todd just said I should be getting my new pipes in this week!
So as soon as I get them, I will install and take new pics to post up in this thread...i'll even take the old ones down!

Maybe I'll even edit my title to say "new pipes" or something, cause I remember back in the first 10 pages or something, someeone was getting email notices of updates on this thread....oh he got upset and was like "can you only post if there is an update!

damnn...now I gott go back and find out who said that so I can email him that there is actaully an update now!

i scrpae some times on steeeeep steeep hills! mines like 3 inches off the ground but i could be wrong it could be more.

 

just got my dezod black box from joe at dezodwest!!! cant wait to get it and hook up before the autocross season... im actually stoked, seems like something ill be really ____ty at but have a lot of fun doing it!

 

i've been debating on whether or not to get a black box... let me know how it works out for you

 

i hope you don't haha.. mine was from one of my tow hooks... the pipe with the hole is actually now just straight up attached to the hook where the hole is (i figure if a new pipe is coming, why bother fixing the position of the old one). my other side IC pipe is about an inch away from the other tow hook. i might have someone shave off the one that's tearing up my piping

That scares me now, haha. Hope the new pipes are well redesigned.

 

the reason mine are so low is because my car is pretty low. no need to worry if your car isnt slammed.

 

my issue wasn't from todd's actual design of the first pipes (the only "flaw" was the low height). my tow hook woes came from that pipe not being completely secure to the coupler. whenever i would hit boost, i think the pipe would lurch a little and go into the hook. you shouldn't have a problem with the new piping, especially if you ensure you have good clearance. i didn't notice it until it was too late, that's all. dumb mistake, but won't happen again
