I have 2, plus I'm buying two more. I'm going to buy a Macbook Pro in the fall/winter, and I'm buying an old ____ty Dell 100% dedicated to my car for tuning.

The eMac is the only one hard-wired to the router and RAID stack, everything else is wireless to the WiFi base, then to the router, and each 'puter has it's own local HD backup (you can see the little drive under the laptop in the first pic). Three printers on-line.
We all have our little 'habits' I guess...
yeah...i'm in reno right now anyway...
...damn macs...I got 5 computers in my house, NOT A ONE is a mac!
I actually work in IT, and one of the reasons I took my current position was because there were NO MACS!

control + click = right click
mac = no need for right click honestly. remember phil, anything you can do. i can do better.
hell i can even run windows with a better benchmark speed than you

Heheheheheheh... Back when I was an engineering manager our division had 219 Macs as engineering workstations. We had ONE Mac Geek that kept us running. The next state over had about the same size engineering division (just slightly smaller - I think they had about 195 workstations). They ran Windows machines and had a team of 9 MS Geeks to keep 'em running.
Myself? I've never used Windows - I've run UNIX since the early eighties, and Mac since '86...

2 fingers for the function of 1 button? My mouse has 5 buttons on it...and I'd like to see that benchmark, because when apple first switch to the x86 architechture on intell chips, mac software was running faster on windows hardware...the funnies thing is that adobe premeire and photoshop both run faster on windows machines then on macs, and macs were supposed to be the multimedia masters...
but yeah, have fun tuning your f/ic on your mac...oh...wait...that's right...you have to use windows emulation for that...
btw...I hate iPods too!

From an old usenet group I used to be on...
From Esben: For or five years ago the helpdesk, where I worked at the time, got this request from a user: "Could I please have a copy of the internet on a 3.5" floppy disk? My PC at home doesn't have a modem."
