OK, I did it. I only cut a little off the bottom figureing I could do more if neccessary, and when I test fitted, it looked like I did to much cause you could see a gap and it was really ugly.

I used a cutting blade and I should have just used the sander. I then sanded it down to smooth it out, and when I mounted it back up, it fit really nice IMO.

First of all, here is the hole that was drilled in my dash:

Here's a look with all my gague wires:

And a quick question before the other pics...do my gauges look like their melted in the back? I actually had to shave the opening on the wideband (right side in this pic) to get my wires to plug back in.

OK, here is the right side:

Here is the left side:

and here is the front view:

I even got the screws to fit back in the same holes. You might just have to shave the sides a bit to bring it down, but I did a couple mm off the entire bottom front lip.

What do you think?

The competition clutch is great if your interested find your best price give me a call and figure out how much the place was going to charge you for shipping becuase i might be able to beat the price for you. Also i would suggest saving up and doing the lightened flywheel with the clutch it makes a big difference.

If you KNOW that they are more then $600 for the set, then you can't get them for a better price then I can. But I sent you a PM anyway.

And I'm not planning on getting the flywheel. My RPMs drop to fast as it is when i let off the pedle.

well how ___ of jason. he has a scion xA and is a good friend of all of us so its cool that he drives a miata (no ___ pun intended) to the meets.
but to invite all these ricers who invite more ricers and totally kill our spot is lame.
we serously need a new spot with just tC's. and maybe some xB's.
it was cool when it was just like 8 or 9 FRIENDS just hanging out waiting for phil to show up
How about we move it to the south side? Fry's? Bell's? Calloway? They all got big lots with big lights. plus it's right off the strip if we wanna cruize.

For anyone who has ridden in my car, except jonamatic.
You rode when my CEL was on, and that was not a good representation. I cleared it again last night and my drive to work was AMAZING! Boost comes on quicker harder, LOUDER, and it pulls like a f*cking BEAST!
So for whoever gets a ride next, remind me to clear the CEL first!
