and yes ola, i will have a very merry christmas haha.. including driving 500 miles in a matter of days so that my Comp. Clutch is broken in adequately for the first testing of the kit on the highway
ok so since i am going to be installing without my harness and corrected intake pipe i have some questions:
Im going to jsut dremel of the nubs on the wrong intake pipe and zip tie the maf sensor on till i get the new pipe.
since i dont have my harness should i jsut leave the stock injectors in and keep the car out of boost since i wont have my e-manage?
then once i receive the harness then install the injectors w/ my emanage or should i jsut install the injectors this saturday with the rest of the install? thanks!

I ran with the wrong pipe and no management with stock injectors for a solid week. I would get into low boost, but I had a 3.5psi spring in. I think Ola did the same.
Yes, if you are installing without management, DO NOT put your injectors in yet. and try to stay out of boost. (yeah right!

yes java dont put the injectors in until you get your harness. i would also recommend just leaving your maf sensor unplugged. if you do that, the car wont let you get into boost even if you wanted to. itll run in like a "safe" mode.
ok so im good with the following:
1. wrong intake pipe! no biggie, jsut zip tie it down. check
2. no injectors wait till i recieve harness and tune. check
3. stay out of boost. hmmmmmm check.. crosses fingers...
4. just drive real grandmaish! check
anything else oh wise and noble Mr_Meaty??

lol
if you unplug the sensor, you will be forced to drive slow. the car will be really slow even if you floor it.
thats what i did.
if you leave the sensor in, your gonna boost. you cant help it cuz ur human. i even did it every now and then just to hear my bov.
its like the ring on Lord of the Rings. you cant resist boost

i mean as far as dmamaging the sensor because i know they are fragile. when you unplugged it was just hanging in there next to the intake pipe or were you able to take it out and keep it safe?
no, leave the sensor in the intake.
the plug for the sensor is on the outside. just unplug that.
the sensor will be safe inside the intake while the male end of the connector will be dangling around.
it doesnt have much slack so even that will have no issues
