Usually svideo unless your card came with an adapter. Some high end cards have an output similar to svideo but have an adapter cable that splits it to multiple interfaces.

Yeah it depends on the card. I've seen some with standard Svideo, two different other kinds of svideo as well as coax and AV cables. Mine has a substandard svideo that splits to red/white/yellow av cables.

Did you buy the card new? From a retailer? Did it come with the computer?

Svideo cable you mean? Cause if it's an actual svideo card, this just got a lot more confusing.

Um... sounds like there's possibly an adapter that goes with it that either you didn't receive or have lost. I looked the 6800gt cards on NewEgg and they all have the TVout as just svideo (with a composite adapter).

no its the actual geforce 6800gt video card with the tv-out connection. Well, i went read a few places online and seems there are 2 different svideo connections. One has 4 pins and the other has 7, so i just need to get an adapter or a card with 4 pins........... i think lol

oh, in the previous post i meant "svideo cable" lol

That is not an svideo out its an HDTV out and looks like it needs a special dongle(cord) from nvidia that goes in there, it did not come with a cable that plugs in there with component plugs on the end? otherwise you could use the dvi if you have an hdtv with a dvi connector on it.

yeah that was the type of extension cord splitter thingy that i had with mine. non-standard svideo. check to see if the product was supposed to come with the adapter. check tigerdirect or the manufacturer to see if they have single adapters to buy. or check the layout of the pins on the adapters before you buy em.
