So me and my mom left home yesterday at noon to go to a fam renuion in nebraska we arrived in denver at around 7 denver time we have been here ever since getting on and of planes because of "mechanical problems". I know its not their fault but I feel like tom hanks

 

If you felt like Tom Hanks, you'd be posting this from a lovely island. Be thankful they found the mechanical problems and fixing them is the reason you're not on the plane.

 

i think he is referring to "The Terminal", and not "Castaway"

on a side note...is the airline going to give you something for having to wait??
not like your situation, but sometimes when a flight is overbooked, theyll ask for volunteers to wait for the next flight and they give you cash. i got $200 from Continental for waiting 50mins for the next flight...

Oh yeah well your right ack butttt the thing is after being kicked off the plane we found out the reason was they had no pilots that were legal. I dont want anyone flying illegally but this is a common problem I guess because during the day we were there I was able to walk the united terminal(its huge prob a mile or so longer) and almost every flight was delayed.

 

I got delayed overnight out of Houston once and all I got was a hotel room. Mechanical failure.

that's so true!! that United Terminal is longer than a walk in a park! dang, I bet you can't wait to get to Nebraska huh?
