So, I finally got a full disk of home movies filled up. Now I'm having a problem with Windows Movie Maker recognizing the files.

The files are there and I can view them using VLC Media player.

Me thinks I need to convert the video files into something else, right? How do I do this?

 

I think it's currently a .vob file. At least that is what Photobucket says it is. (I was seeing if I could upload one of the unedited files, straight from the disk)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Check out Handbrake... I think they have it for Windows.

I might be on to something, I looked up .vob on the site.
