What is the weirdest way you flattened a tire..?
i remember 2 months ago i ran over a chicken bone and got a flat

 

screw driver and pliers even a crescent wrench

 

8" long screw about half inch wide.

 

Does going around a corner fast enough to tip up on 2 wheels and peel the tires off the rims count as a weird way to get a flat or just a stupid way to drive? I did that when I was 19 with my Volkswagen Scirocco...

Thats rolling the tire off the bead cause they were baloons with probably like a 70 sidewall, haha

I don't think i've ever gotten a flat in my life now that I think about it.

Now today after saying that i'm probably going to get a flat. DOH

It was much more talented than that. This was a race car I bought from the driver when he upgraded his ride, had roll bars, racing seats and racing wheels/tires. They were extra wide, I just know I ended up having to replace two due to this and Goodyear had to special order them from the factory, yes the side wall was still higher than todays low profiles by far, but this wasn't on anything near a stock wheel. Don't ask how fast I was going...

 

i have no weird stories. just your typical nail/screw stuff.

 

Last year i had to fix my tires about 6 times

 

Crazy Ex Gf, her nails cut the tires after I hit her for keying my Chevy back in the day...

 

yeah no weird stories...i hit a nail about 4 inches long...went into the side of the tire...couldnt fix it

 

small piece of metal...small meaning like, smaller than a tip of pencil lead.

 

I ran over a dead body

 

no weird stories for me either....

but got a 5inch nail in my tire and came out my side wall.....it was diagonal...good thing for rim and tire warrenty

 

oh and i got 2 flats on one side at the same time when the coppers shot out my tires during a high speed pursuit...

Um, a wooden fence post that fell out of the back of a truck and I ran over it ... I wanted to avoid it but of course it fell perpendicular to the street so oh well...

 

that sucks....
