its people putting 20" rims irregardless of qaulity and style on anything they can get there hands on, ilike older cars that need motor work, but somehow rims are more important to these people. you see it all the time........old beat up blazers, and some crappy fake ___ itallian named rim, these people who do this usually have little or no concept of style. then they run out and get a DUB sticker.



its a style that seems to be ruining our car culture, its like a deomsetic version of a ricer........its people who see things on MTV and want to emulate it........

DUB came about when a dyslexic rapper driving on "twenties" ordered a beer. the term has broadened to cover when any person tries to add at least double their car's weight through rims ("niice, he DUBbed that thing wit dem 24s"). additionally, it became a catch all description for anyone "keeping it real", as in real DUmB (hence the missing m).

uno7, your pchop is more "messican" than "DUB" (it's that whole virgin mary hood). all you're missing to finish the look is a big ol humpback steer sticker on each door.

my opinion about dub its the same as someone said its just a slang word they used for 20" wheels....

but now lots of people call they rides dub cause they are sitting on chrome big wheels added more chrome parts to their ride and have real big stuff on they ride ..........

in my opinion smartass has a sick ride .....and most likely on a dub carshow he will be consider a a dub edition box.....love it......

my is not quite there yet but i have a dub emblem on mine..... i have a small xb toy i think made by dub edition and the rims look similar so i added that to it..

 

OMG i just hope in this season of shopping shopping shopping, that the tv is removable from the car O_O
