Xbox 360 is looking like its gonna be the best console this gen(or at least from what I've seen from E3)

Xbox 360 is gonna drop Halo 3 next year
I predict the new game, Gears of War to be the next big game.
Forza 2 will have customizable body kits. As in...make your own body kits. The GT series killer will be Forza...

PS3 is gonna cost $600
PS3 will have Metal Gear Solid 4, and this game looks effin awesome.
The PS2 Final Fantasies didn't do much for me. So they'd really have to bring something to the table to impress me this time around.

Wii is gonna be a bang for your buck

With games like Super Smash Brawl, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess it's looking pretty good. Plus they may end up revolutionizing the game controller. I personally think the Wii will either be huge or be nothing. But Nintendo will never go out of business even if the Wii fails like the GameCube because they destroy the portable gaming competition. Especially with the release of the improved DS Lite.

I'm not biased towards any system. I just think Microsoft knows what they're doing.

 

I can't wait to see how the next-gen system battle plays out. Especially with the Wii. Nintendo continues to conentrate on creating innovative video games while Microsoft and Sony continue to try and take over your entertainment system. As of right now I plan on getting a PS3.

Are you 100% XBOX has exclusive rights to the next GTA? I'm not sure Microsoft knows exactly what they're doing, they just have the money to do whatever they want.

Even though it's expensive as hell, you gotta give it to Sony for including everything into one package. Microsoft rushed out the 360. People have to pay $100 if they want wireless capabilities. At least another $100 for Next-Gen HD-DVD support and another $100+ down the road when the serious gamers realize 20GB isn't a big enough hard drive. The $600 PS3 has all of those covered: wireless access, Blu-Ray capabilities, and a 60 GIG HD.

 

^ yea, but Sony is kinda lame NOT offering SOME of those options in the Core package, its basically stripped down. FORCING you to buy the $600 premium package! How can you enjoy Blueray games in HD on a PS3 that has no HDMI outputs? Weak sauce

I'm going with the ps3.. however, the $499 and $599 pricetag really hurts, lol. Maybe i'll just wait a bit after they come out. Its not like i'll have that much time to play during school anywayz. Another thing is, i'm thinking about upgrading my computer, or building a new one, but between the system and the computer, i can only choose one.

ps3 and wiii... but of course im gonna wait... lol you know how it is theres always something wrong in the beginning. but ps3 gots HD dvd player. unlike 360 its an add-on... they try playing it off which they knew it was one of their mistake by not puttin it.

I dont really play games(cept mmorpg on the computer) but this should be interesting

It's really nice to come back and read this almost 2 years later. I think it's amazing that the Wii is pretty much on top even though it's graphics are nowhere near the xbox360's, nor the ps3's. It's the fun factor...the reason video games should be played in the first place.

I want a PS3 for the sole reason that HD-DVD is officially dead and the PS3 plays Blu-Ray Discs.

the only thing i bought the 360 for is because there are some really good games that are only on it...other than that, ps3 all the way!
