What should I do?
I got into a little accident with a concrete poll and now my car has about $1600 worth of damage. The damage is to the body and not the engine. It drives just fine. Should I pay the 500 deductible to get it fixed and have my insurance raised on me or should I just leave it alone?
Personally I'm ok with the damage. Part of me want to fix it because it will help out my resale value but my insurance will increase and I might lose even more money to the insurance company in the long run than the lose of resale value.
What should I do? what's your logic behind it?

i'd just pay the deductible, there is always something that comes up while the repairs are being made that increases the cost.
also, while they're repairing the damage, you'll need a rental car if you don't have a second car or one that can be lended to you, so that is more money you gotta shell out.
