For the past two days now, this plase is running about as fast as a Yugo with 4 flat tires. What gives?

 

there are automatic xB's moving faster.

defintiely see it, have for the last couple weeks, but these last few days are espeically bad.

To come to the Off-Topic page, it took 2 minutes before the page half showed up enough for me to click this post. The post took a total of 118.781 seconds to fully load (FasterFox said so).

I estimate there's a lot (per list of how many premium members there are and the money each pay) of money coming in per month with the premium memberships and whatever advertisers pay. Is that not enough money to keep a website of this caliber running smoothly? If it isn't enough, then lets start pushing people to help out more. If it is enough or plenty enough and the money is not being put into the pot accordingly to fix the joint up in a timely manor, then I and others ought to rethink our contributions.

I love SL and really dislike that it has been virtually unusable for now two days and almost always slow otherwise.
