the valet service sucked , heck half of them learned to drive stick in our cars

they messed mine up as well ( I blame the un organized - un professional valet service )

Scion corp hired a company to do a job and IMO they failed big time ..

They should have hired the old dude at my Scion dealership who drives the cars from drop off to the garage. He treats them like his own personal ride.

Whatever happened, I just hope the organizers pay for repairs for y'all.

I know of a girl in scikotics, whos car is still in vegas with a bad motor, and missing 11 gallons of gas, she spent 8 hours fighting BMG to get it towed back to tulsa, guess what its still sitting in that parking lot, and they said will be for a few weeks

heres most of her post from scikotics

Whoever was driving (or off-roading) my RS 3.0 xB seriously messed up the engine, bad enough that my car was not able to be driven home!!!
Finally, after 8+ hours of waiting to make our 20+ hour drive back to Oklahoma, Beyond Marketing finally agreed to get us a rental car & ship our xB back home to be repaired as long as we paid for everything up front to be reimbersed. The car was suppose to be shipped out early today & I should receive a check for the money we spent in a couple days.

During our long ___ drive, the man I spoke to never called us. He was suppose to call us in the morning, but we waited until the afternoon & still nothing. Then there was the phone tag. When we finally got a hold of him, he said they were not going to be able to ship my car out for almost a week. Oh yeah, & we would continue to have to pay out of our pocket for a rental car until the car finally ships out & then has to be repaired.

In my sleep deprived state, I was in such a hurry to get home that I really didn't know what was suppose to be in the contact I signed. I'm not a lawyer & I guess I'm too trusting with people. Since the contract they typed up did not include any dates, I am at their mercy & may have to wait weeks & spend money I do not have to get this resolved.

Meanwhile my car is still sitting in a parking lot in Las Vegas. They haven't even arranged to get a tow truck to put it in a garage or something somewhere that isn't sitting out in the open.

Oh yeah, & the back bumper on our xD is falling off.

And the 12 pack of water we left in the xD from our road trip was opened & drank by whoever was in the car. I also had trash from the event in my backseat.

They (Beyond Marketing) told me 2-3 weeks to get to my claim. Bah. I'm filing the claim with my insurance company and gonna let them go after Beyond and the valet people.

But my post on the Yahoo group for Scion United didn't get deleted. Go figure.

Holy crap, feel bad for the OK folks, to make such a drive and have that happen is some serious BS. Can you link us to the Y! group James?

heres the main one I saw from Yahoo, I wanted to go bad, but couldn't afford it, and did suggest to the guy that hires beyond, that next time they might wanna try and do one more centralized because those of us(atleast around here) get no, absolutely no scion love, and he said that he'd look into it, kinda glad I couldn't come up with the $600+ in gas

1. Shame on whomever decided to drive our lowered cars up a dirt road.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out damage was going
to occur
2. As I'm sittin on the bus, I saw my "professional valet" drive
Butters up the dirt road with the windows down. Appreciate the 10
pounds of dust in my car.
3. Also thanks for 4 wheeling my XB. Road rash all on the underside of
my front valance panel and spider cracked the clear a good 14" across
the front of the valance.
4. Someone opened my hood and it appears they didn't put the prop rod
in correctly because there is a 6" scrape right on the lip of my hood
by the graphics and bent my billet grill.
5. Thanks for making us stand out in the sun at 100+ temps to file a
claims while the "professional valets" mocked and insulted us from the
cover of the sun in their tent.

The kids, and that is all they were deserved to get a beat down.
Telling us it's our fault? I don't think so. Maybe they thought this
was a joke or something but there were alot of us that were torqued
beyond belief. Most of us put a substantial amount of time, effort and
money into our Scions and to see them thrashed like that..........

In my original post on SL about this, I was way leary of leaving my
car with some kid looking for some extra weekend drinking money.

In parting, I'm not waiting for Beyond Marketing to get off their rear
to fix my car. I'm calling my agent on Monday and filing a claim. I'll
let my multi billion dollar insurance company collect from these
idgits. Considering this is a comprehensive claim (I was not in
control of the vehicle when it happened) it will not raise my rates
and I can get it fixed immediately instead of waiting for them to do
something about it.

I found it very uneasy on Sunday seeing some of the cars being driven over to their owners using the dirt road that the bus parks on when it loads and unloads us.

yeah, seriously, i know i don't have anywhere near the nicest scion around, but no valet will ever hav the priviledge of driving any car i ever own.

this sucks that this happened, and i hope everything gets resolved. and that karma works its way around.
