Ok, here's a thread regarding things thus far. The conversation doesn't have to move over there, but we're being extra sure to keep everyone up to date.

Have no fear people, Scion wont let a company screw you over. Being a marketing major myself, I know how marketing companies work. I'm sure Scion is a huge deal to have as one of your clients so I'm sure this Beyond Marketing group is sweating b/c if they dont get things right, they might just lose Scion and that would hurt them big time.

I suspect "Toyota" is a fairly good sized account for BMG - both Scion and Lexus are clients, as well as Toyota itself, and have been for a considerable time (Scion for as long as there has BEEN Scion, I believe).

BMG will take care of it's client's people, I'm sure.

Glad to hear people are getting their rides fixed. Also good job to Tomas and everyone else who is helping to get things resolved.

I have to admit... they never would have got my car. As soon as I hear something like 'professional valet', I have fits. Who the hell is a professional valet? I mean... pro athlete? Nice. Professional doctor? Great! Professional secretary? They're out there. Professional hair-stylist? Mohawk please. Nice. But professional valet? Talk about aiming low. There's no party worth some pro car parker driving my ride in the desert. Not with Vegas so close.

That sucks that all you guys had problems with your cars. Mine was ok, with only a couple minor scratches that I'm not even really worried about. Hope everything gets fixed and handled appropriately.

Not to be a killjoy, but we all knew this event was in the desert and it gonna be naturally dusty. there are a lot of complaints about inevitable things.

so it was inevitable that axels would be broken, body panels destroyed and cars unable to leave the place under their own power?

LMFAO!!!!

I don't believe I said that. Altho is it ironic that 2 as in TWO xD's had broken axles? There are some things that are out of place, but the nitpicking of dusty interiors and door dings is just out of control. Those guys didn't check the cars in and out THAT good. they only made note of the chipped paint on my front left fender when both front fenders are in fact chipped. I knew about it yet they didn't notice. SO I guess I can nitpick about it? No way!

I say thanks Scion for the opportunity to be a part of your ad campaign. It was an honor...

I think it's time to be proud that we were all chosen to be a part of this campaign. Let's not blow it too far out of proportion now. It sucks there were a few careless valets, but in no way could this not happen at a hotel or restuarant or casino if you valet parked there. let's be a bit more positive about the situation.

well, from what i was reading (not on here) the ones complaining about the more trivial stuff was only in addition to obvious over-negligence and even some evidence of obvious attempted theft.

but really, noone is saying they didnt have a good time, I had a blast.

only that the professional valet that we were promised fell dissasterously short.
if it was so obvious that such things were going to happen so ugly then Scion wouldn't have done such a thing.
anyway one person cannot be a judge of another person's personal attachment to their vehicle, therefore for one person to complain that another is being too picky means nothing to them so its a useless argument, they're gonna complain about however little they want wether you like it or not, lol. hell, I am not just going to dismiss $3k in repairs as inevitable, if so i wouldnt have taken it.

maybe that was the problem. the super professionl valet should have been just valet. we were given an expectation that fell short I spose.
