Wirlessly Connecting PC to TV
What are my options for wirelessly hooking up my downstairs TV to my PC which is upstairs? The TV has a VGA port and cable so it is already capable of working as a monitor. I don't want to have to connect and reconnect stuff behind the computer every time I want to use the TV as my monitor. So far all I found is this:

Do I have any other options?

imo id rather run a cable down there. wireless video isnt that great just yet if your going for quality. judging by your tV already has a VGA input, it has to be of some quality, that the wireless video wont be as clear as a direct VGA. you can try them, but imo your best bet would be a direct cable or another pc near the tv for media purposes.
well, http://www.google.com/search?q=wireless+vga turned up quite a few hits
I have to agree that an appropriate length cable might provide the best connection, but considering that these use 802.11x, and that TCP/IP (seven layer) is a much more complicated signal than VGA (single layer) it would at least be very interesting to test the quality. I think it's viable.
