Yup, its a bad day when you realize you need to slow down, carry a spare tire, keep a backup pair of glasses, and change into old clothes before working on a car.

Its called growing up.

 

I don't mean to "preach" at you, but two of those problems could have easily been avoided. Driving 90 MPH just isn't smart, and there's a good reason why cars come with spare tires. Find it and put it back in the car. The subwoofer is of no use when you're stranded on the side of the road.

 

In TN they can LEGALLY charge you with reckless endangerment if you are going one mile per hour over the speed limit. Even at one MPH over, you’re still breaking the law. Some officers will. I've heard of people getting tickets for 32 in a 30. I myself was pulled over for going 60 in a 30 on Main St. (yeah, I know that's crazy, don't bash on me, I was a stupid teenager), and I just got a $75 ticket, no reckless endangerment (which would have been well deserved). It all depends on the officer and if anyone else has made him mad that day.

Coincidentally, that was caused by a girl too. Anyone see a pattern?

 

i dont have my spare tire anymore because ive already used it and the wire is already coming through the rubber..... i need to get a replacement but i havent gotten around to it. also, i was alone when i was going 90 (i am concerned for others lives) and there was no traffic around me...... 10:00 on a friday ina VERY small town on prom weekend? hah everyones at parties.... i know that it was irresponsible of me but i seriously wasnt endangering anyone but myself

 

tC's come with the "temporary donut spare" don't they? Please don't tell me you drove on a temporary spare long enough to wear it out!

 

yep... i got 19'' axis mod sevens..... not a cheap rim... and when i used my spare i had cracked my rim so yeh.... i didnt have the money to get it so i had to ride on my twinkie.

 

Ah...that 'splains it. I hope you didn't damage your rim when you had he blowout.

 

actually, thats the reason i had a blowout..... my back right rim has been bent for the longest and i just realized that i always have blowouts and flat tires only on that rim (i know.... im stupid, but hey, i just didnt put 2 and 2 together...) im ordering the rim today... my old ruim is really bent but its not cracked... also i still have my cracked one... if anyone wants them for any reason... tell me

ima try to get a rim with an actual tire to fit in the bay.... when i have blowouts, it usually takes a while for me to fix it....

 

How this day could have been lots worse:

-girl could have been calling to say you will soon be a daddy.

-got arrested for wreckless driving while thinking about what in the world you are going to do about new baby in life.

-while stewing over being arrested and contimplating being a very ill prepared soon to be daddy sittin in the cell, some very large individual walks up to you and says, 'you sure got a purtty mouth.'

so, no life altering events, let's just chalk this up to, "dang, this day sucked"
